Learn More About UsCollision Repair And Your Insurance
Did You Know?
In Connecticut—including right here for Portland drivers—you have the legal right to choose any licensed repair shop for your vehicle's collision repairs. Your insurance company cannot dictate where you must go. State laws, including the Anti-Steering Law, protect consumers from being coerced into using insurer-preferred shops. Insurers are required to inform you of this right on insurance ID cards, estimates, and through visible signage in repair facilities. Despite these protections, navigating insurance claims can be complex, and some insurers may attempt to influence your decision. At Victor Auto Body Works, we're here to help Portland drivers understand their rights and guide them through the claims process. Our experienced team can assist you in dealing with insurance companies to ensure your vehicle is repaired to the highest standards. If you have questions or need assistance, don't hesitate to contact us at (860) 346-8800 or visit our facility at 590 Washington St, Middletown, CT 06457. Your choice matters, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
